Common Questions
Name on card
What to enter in the Name on card field during payment
Name on card
When paying on websites and in apps, you will often see a Name on card field (sometimes Cardholder name) — this is the cardholder name.
What is recommended
It is recommended to enter your own first and last name in Latin letters, for example:
Ivan IvanovMaria Petrova
This is the most universal option and usually works best with merchant checks and payment forms.
Important notes
- Use Latin letters (A–Z), not Cyrillic.
- If the form does not accept spaces or special characters, try a simple format such as
IVAN IVANOV. - If the website provides only one field, enter both first and last name in the same line.
Payments are usually supported with any correctly filled name, but your own first and last name in Latin letters is the safest and most predictable option.
